I want to make Ten Digit Grid a website that helps visitors find and plan their next adventure. Currently, there are a lot of sites and blogs that have a ton of great trail guides but there is no great "Google of the Adventures"

With the Ten Digit Grid Adventure Map (Beta) I am trying to create a map with links to trail guides from Bloggers and YouTubers across the internet!

I will keep this first post up to date with the Blogs that I have added. I hope you all enjoy using this tool and hope it helps you plan your next adventure!

I just started the coding for the backend of version 2 on the Seek Adventure Map.

New features being worked on for version 2:

  1. Filter by activity type (Hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing etc.)
  2. Filter by distances
  3. Easier and quicker data entry so I can add more guides quicker!
  4. YouTube Video section being added for trail YouTube Trail guides

Get ready for Seek Adventure Map Version 2! The major code re-write is complete, just tieing up some loose ends and finishing up testing and copying data over!

Here is a sneak peek on how you will be able to filter and find guides from different content creators (Bloggers, Youtubers etc.):

Data transfer to the new map is about 90% complete so I released the Seek Adventure Map Version 2! Click on the top right of the map to expand the filter easily find an outdoor adventure that suits your needs based on type, milage or days!

I also incorporated code to allow guides created by YouTubers to be added also, currently, there is only one YouTube Guide on the map, but a lot more will be added once I finish the last 10% of the data transfer. If you know any YouTube Channels that have good trail guides, share them here and I will get them added!

You Can check out the Seek Adventure map at the normal map link here: https://www.seekadventure.net/adventureMap.html

The database transfer from the Original Adventure Map is complete and we now have over 190 Trailheads and 220 Trail guides (I will attempt to keep those counts up to date in the top post).

In addition to the addition of filtering trail guides by type, mileage and the number of days, I also pushed out a facelift to the page to make it look nicer and easier for everyone to use!
